HSAs have grown in popularity during 2006, only their third year in existence. A recent Information Strategies Survey predicted that by January 2007, we should see about 3.6 million HSAs with over $5.2 billion in assets.
An HRA from Infinisource is designed to allow participants to be reimbursed by their employers for eligible out-of-pocket expenses. These reimbursements are tax deductible for the employer, and tax-free for the employee. HRAs are another major part of the growing trend toward greater health care consumer responsibility.
