Post-COBRA New York State Continuation

New York State Continuation applies to fully insured medical plans offered by employers subject to federal COBRA that have 20 or more employees.
New York State Continuation is similar to COBRA in many ways. Like COBRA, there are notice requirements for New York State Continuation. Unlike COBRA, New York State Continuation applies to fully insured plans only, including PPOs, HMOs, government and church plans.
