What the Final Regulations Mean to Your Workplace
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) reportedly completed final revisions to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) in October 2008, and only a review by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) stands in the way of the regulations appearing in the Federal Register.
Be among the first to understand what changes to make to your FMLA policies, forms and workplace. Infinisource was one of more than 4,000 entities to comment on these regulations and will provide a detailed action plan for complying with the changes. We will also provide insight as to what the new Presidential administration will mean to FMLA enforcement.
Topics will include:
- Notice administration
- Serious health conditions
- Intermittent leave
- Medical certifications
- Active duty leave
Attendees will also receive a summary chart of all applicable FMLA time frames, many of which are different from the prior set of Final Regulations issued in 1995.
